Thank you very much for your interest in a graduation at the ITM. Taking one`s doctor`s degree in law can be a very exciting experience. Especially in the field of information law there are plenty of new topics for a thesis which gives doctorands the opportunity of influencing and changing the legal discussion. Furthermore, many juristic subjects of copy rights, patents and other intangible assets are suitable for an interesting dissertation. That is why we are pleased with everybody who wishes to graduate at our institute.
Unfortunately some formalities dictated by the university and the faculty have to be complied with. In particular, we only accept applicants with outstanding marks. Furthermore, the thesis has to be written in German language, although this general rule is subject to certain exceptions (para. 6 (2) graduation rules).
